Fans Think Kim Kardashian Photoshopped Her Latest Instagram Post: ‘She Really Doesn’t Need To Do This’

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to Photoshop fails, and the reality star has been accused yet again of altering her body in another post. This time, fans are noticing touch-ups in the 42-year-old’s upload from her red carpet appearance at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer 2024 fashion show.

Many critics are calling out the SKIMS mogul for apparently altering a professional photo of herself and have expressed their dissatisfaction with her “unnecessary” editing.

The Instagram account @ProblematicFame (which specializes in exposing how celebrity Instagram posts can impact beauty standards) created a moving graphic that seemingly shows “slimming” changes in Kardashian’s chin, chest and waist.

Kardashian posted a slideshow last week for her 361 million Instagram followers that included ten photos of herself at the LV show in Paris. Some were solo shots, others were taken with famous friends like Pharrell Williams, Kelly Rowland, Jared Leto and Lewis Hamilton.

Fans seemed to really notice editing in Kardashian’s fifth slide— a red carpet photo that showed her donning a green and gray checkered crop top and matching, skintight, colorblocked leggings.

In the comment section under @ProblematicFame’s comparison post, one fan wrote: “Yes, she was naturally pretty, and yes, she’s still pretty. But she has completely changed the perception an entire generation of young girls and women have of themselves by using smoke and mirrors and claiming au naturale.”

Another agreed, commenting: “It’s sad bc she really doesn’t need to do this.” The account creator captioned the post: “kim photoshops + posts publicly available content (such as photoshoots and event photos) so it is very easy to find the original and compare.” They added: “kim tends to photoshop her stomach, waist, arms, armpits, breasts, shoulders, jaw, chin, nasolabial folds, nose, lips, eyes, and skin texture.”

Ultimately, the post aimed to compare the original photo of Kardashian by Getty Images and the edited one posted to the mom of four‘s official account. After watching it, many are still commenting that they believe Kardashian edited the following additional areas to “appear thinner:” her stomach, arms, shoulders and jaw.

“It’s so wild to me that she’s done everything humanly possible to achieve some sort of ideal look, and still retouches herself THINNER. Like… are you kidding?” someone else chimed in as one other fan wrote in the comments: “Its just mad the lengths this woman has gone to to look the way she does with years of multiple surgeries and regular aesthetic treatments and still she feels its not good enough.”
