Harry Styles has revealed his latest hair transformation, ditching his signature long brown curls for a sleek, buzzcut look. Last week, the “As It Was” singer, 29, was spotted in the crowd at a U2 concert with rumored girlfriend Taylor Russell in Las Vegas, where he debuted the new ‘do.

TMZ-obtained footage captured Styles swaying to the music with Russell, also 29, leaving fans shocked by his transformation. However, it wasn’t until November 15th that the former One Direction member officially revealed his buzzcut in a promotional photo for his brand Pleasing’s new fragrance.

While some fans are in favor of the “clean” and “daring” look, others are mourning the loss of the “Watermelon Sugar” hitmaker’s “trademark” curls and previously voluminous hairstyle, expressing their sentiments on social media. Many have also deemed the Grammy winner to be “unrecognizable” without his usual hairstyle.

Many of Styles’ devotees are noting that his buzzcut made them do a “double take,” as lots of users are taking to X (formerly Twitter) to share their thoughts on his clean-shaven look. One referred to him as “hairless styles” as another recently wrote: “I love Harry Styles so dearly and I will defend anything he does but this hair cut is not it, I’m sorry.” One also tweeted: “He looks like a whole new person tho lol.”

Another user added: “thats not harry styles yall, i dont want to believe this.” Someone else replied: “Mmmmm no. Bring the curls back.” Others, however, seemed to like his look, even if it initially surprised them. “I love this look,” one tweeted as another chimed in: “He looks totally different but cool.” One other noted, regarding the video that TMZ shared of him at the U2 show: “okay the more im watching this video the hotter the buzzcut gets, it’s the harry styles effect.” 

The Don’t Worry Darling actor’s fanbase is clearly divided when it comes to his new look, but seem to have positive things to say about his blossoming romance with Bones And All actress, Russell, who he was first linked to in June 2023. “Very happy for Harry & Taylor,” one recently wrote on X as another replied: “He looks good and they look so good together.” Someone else added: “She is so pretty I love her. This [buzzcut] look works for him. I like it.”

The couple's relationship was first reported earlier this summer, after they were spotted on their initial outing. The Lost In Space star notably accompanied Styles to his Vienna concert, while the "Late Night Talking" artist made headlines after he was seen at Russell's play's opening night in London. Despite being spotted holding hands and appearing cozy on multiple public occasions, neither of them has confirmed their relationship.
