Fans Think Fenty Beauty Is Releasing Skin-Care Products

Fingers crossed.

In the past two weeks alone it seems Fenty Beauty has been on the tip of everyone's tongues. It all started with the initial launch, which exceeded our wildest expectations — and during fashion week, no less — but RiRi also chose last week to announce the new brand's hotly-anticipated holiday collection. (Which by the way, looks out of this worllllld.)

And lo and behold, just when I figured that was enough Fenty realness to keep everyone occupied for the time being, skin care gets thrown into the mix, too. No joke: Popsugar first reported that people are already speculating Rihanna and her team have some new skin-care goodies in the making, thanks to a mysterious screenshot snagged by @MrMouthAlmighty on Twitter of a trademark application for skin-care products.

The document in question clearly reads "House of Fenty" above a list of "goods and services," including "non-medicated skin care preparations, namely, creams, lotions, gels, toners," implying the brand must already have some skin-care items in the works.

The same trademark document can also be found on the database known as Justia, where anyone can check out trademarks in the works. Also mentioned on the form are "cleaners and peels; hand lotions, nail care preparations, artificial nails, nail polish, nail polish removers, nail treatment creams, temporary tattoos for use as cosmetics, shower gels, bath gel, perfume," which can only mean we have a lot to expect from Fenty Beauty over the next couple of years.

However, it's definitely worth noting, as Popsugar points out, that the trademark application is not only still pending as of September 21, but also says it was registered back in 2014 along with other potential businesses that Rihanna has yet launch.

That being said, if and when a Fenty Beauty skin-care line comes into existence, you can bet Rihanna fans (ourselves included) will be more than ready for it. Fans of the multi-hyphenate have already taken to social media to express their excitement over the rumors.

Right now, that's really all they are — rumors. But knowing Rihanna, it's just a matter of time before Fenty Beauty skin care becomes the real deal.
