- Hannah Brown won Dancing With the Stars last night—yay!
- Erin Andrews, the host of the program, didn’t look too happy about Hannah’s win.
Ah, yet another season of Dancing With the Stars has come and gone! Season 28 of the show wrapped and the winner of the coveted Mirror Ball trophy was crowned, but not before the final four were congratulated for their valiant efforts.
America’s favorite Bachelorette—Hannah Brown—was the first place winner, while Kel Mitchell took second place and Ally Brooke and Lauren Alaina secured the third and fourth place spots. But when cohost Tom Bergeron announced that Hannah was the winner, viewers couldn’t help but notice that cohost Erin Andrews had a little attitude...and to be honest, it was pretty obvious.
I mean...do you see her face? Not a shadow of a smile, not a twinkle in her eye, not a single brow raised in either delight or surprise. Honestly, what gives? Twitter was equally perplexed by Erin’s poorly disguised reaction to Hannah’s win.
As one user eloquently put it: “Can Erin Andrew’s facial expressions be any more obvious? Shouldn’t she at least appear unbiased? Not sure who she wanted to win, but at least she could pretend to be happier for the winner no matter who it is. #dwtsfinale #DWTS.”
For the most part, people online seemed to agree:

Disappointed in Erin Andrews’ lack of professionalism when Hannah and Alan were announced as winners. I tried not to think much of it as I was watching bc it was all so quick, but reading that others noticed it, too, confirms her lack of respect for the winners. #DWTS— Sarah🇺🇸 (@SarahHoover24) November 26, 2019
What just happened on @DancingABC? No one cheered for @hannahbrown?! Erin Andrews clasped her hands and stepped back. She congratulated the other couple instead. I'm so confused! Hannah was a beautiful dancer! Congratulations, Hannah and Alan! #DWTSFinale— Morgan (@txOLTLfan) November 26, 2019
So happy for and proud of @hannahbrown. She worked so hard on @DancingABC DWTS. She solidified herself as a winner w her last dance. There’s always gonna be divided opinions. But, let her & Alan enjoy the win. @ErinAndrews reaction was unprofessional and distracted from the joy.— Kandi Chesnutt (@kandimarandi) November 26, 2019
Erin Andrews didn’t even clap for Hannah and Alan. Rude. At least act like you’re happy for them. They deserved to win just as much as Witney and Kel. #dwts— Ashley Phillips (@acopenhaver6) November 26, 2019

Erin came to her own defense though after seeing people coming down on her. “Give me a break. YOU CAN’T WIN IN THIS SITUATION. I’m standing next to the couple that just got second place,” she wrote, clearing things up. “And if I had cheered, you’d be killing me for going against the Kel, Lauren, and Ally. Not that serious, people!”
