Fans Think Caroline Will Finally Star in "Legacies" After This Huge Announcement
Season 2 of Legacies is in the works.
Fans have been wanting to see more of The Vampire Diaries character Caroline Forbes, played by Candice King.
Candice made an exciting announcement on Instagram.
If you're a vampire lover, then you've definitely been a fan of The Vampire Diaries and its subsequent spin-offs, The Originals and Legacies. Odds are that you're also a superfan of Caroline Forbes, played by Candice King. Watching Caroline transform from a gossip-loving perfectionist to a kickass vampire with a level head and nothing to lose was SO epic. Her romance with Tyler was everything, but then her love/hate relationship with Klaus made you fall for her even more.
Ever since the finale of TVD, fans have been wanting more of Caroline on their screens, and it looks like Legacies might finally be answering everyone's prayers.
Candice took to Instagram to post a pic of her at a 2011 Comic Con panel for The Vampire Diaries, and with the photo came a very exciting caption. She wrote: "This is back in 2011 at my first Comic Con with TVD... I was THRILLED to be a part of my first panel... and was then even MORE thrilled when I saw the photos after and realized they put the wrong name plate in front of me 😂 . Seth Gabel had a great time and I’m honored to announce I’ll back at Comic Con this year MODERATING the Legacies Panel on Friday July 19th! 🙌 Seth Gabel will see you there."

Candice?! Moderating a Legacies panel?! But why? Fans are convinced that she's moderating because she will, in fact, be returning on season 2 of the show.
We can only hope! Could Damon, Elena and Stefan make appearances too?! Now that we know Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley were "bitter" about the spin-offs, maybe not? Then again, who wouldn't be? Klaus getting a show all about his family is, I'm sure, a tough pill to swallow after your character just spent a bunch of seasons trying to kill him.
