Fans Think Amy Schumer’s Son Gene Looks Like Her “Little Twin” in a New Photo

Amy Schumer rarely posts pictures of her one-year-old Gene. But last week, the comedian shared a new shot of her son and husband Chris Fischer, and it’s so sweet.

In the photo, they simply smile and pose in a car. Apparently, the Little Mermaid towel draped around Fischer’s shoulders was a new buy for Schumer: She wrote in the caption that she’s been ordering towels from the ‘90s. “It’s making me so happy. Recognize this towel?” she wrote.

Fans could not get over how big Gene looks in the photo. He even has a full set of teeth! On top of that, many flooded the comments saying the baby looks just like his mom. In reference to Schumer’s caption, comedian Chelsea Handler commented, “Recognize that face?” insinuating that Gene’s face is identical to Schumer.

“Yes I had that towel!!!!! Also your son is mini you 😍, wrote one fan. “Omg YES!! And he’s your little twin!!” another person added.

On May 5, Gene celebrated his first birthday, so Schumer shared a sweet throwback photo of when he was a newborn. “I’m really glad it was you. Hbd,” Schumer wrote in the caption.

In her earlier stages of motherhood, Schumer was super candid about the ups and downs of pregnancy and new motherhood, but she’s not taking any of it for granted. In another photo of the family cuddling in bed, she wrote a heartwarming message: “Trying time appreciate every second.”
