Kelly Clarkson had a heartwarming reunion with a young superfan battling cancer, making fans emotional.

The singer had previously met 10-year-old Camila on Zoom with the help of Hoda Kotb, who'd connected the two. They finally had the opportunity to meet in person when Clarkson performed at the Today plaza on the morning of Friday, Sept. 22.

In a clip shared by both Kotb and the Today show, the Grammy winner was informed by Kotb that Camila was in the audience. Clarkson immediately crouched down and greeted the adorable fan, exclaiming, "I just noticed you earlier because you had Moxy!" Camila was holding a plush toy of Clarkson's UglyDolls character, who is the protagonist of the 2019 movie.

The two shared a hug, and Camila explained to Clarkson why she's picked Moxy as her favorite of the UglyDolls bunch.

"I've been always trying to sing like her because this reminds me of me," said the child. "Since I was bald when I was a kid, I've always been crying because I never knew what it was like to have friends and people think that I'm just bald, and sometimes I feel like I'm going to get bullied."

Clarkson offered some encouraging words, noting, "You know what? I did not fit in either whenever I was younger and I think that's a lot of kids out there. You're definitely not alone."
