Fans Can’t Get Enough of Jason and Travis Kelce’s Playful Nickname for Kylie

Fans of what has, perhaps, become the NFL’s most popular family are loving the nickname that Travis Kelce gifted his sister-in-law Kylie.

“Princess Kyana” is a nickname that first popped up for Jason Kelce’s wife last November during an episode of New Heights, the podcast that the Philadelphia Eagles center and Travis host together. As reported by Today, the nickname has continued to generate fan interest on social media over the last few months.

At the time, Travis, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, first jokingly uttered the nickname, the brothers were discussing a special Philadelphia Eagles varsity jacket that Kylie had signed and modeled. The jacket was inspired by a similar Eagles jacket that Princess Diana was once photographed wearing.

The Eagles Autism Foundation was in the process of auctioning off the newer version modeled by Kylie as the brothers discussed it on New Heights.

In an apparent attempt to merge Princess Diana’s name with Kylie’s, Travis first referred to his sister-in-law as “Princess Kylie.” He then thought of a name that made both him and his brother laugh.

“Princess Kyana!” Travis exclaimed.

The nickname appeared again about a month later on another New Heights recording that featured a guest appearance by Kylie. Travis chuckled as he introduced “the greatest guest ever,” naming her the “Queen of the North” and the “Duchess of Delco” before landing on what appeared to be his favorite nickname: “Princess Kyana.”

In the podcast’s video recording, Kylie could be seen laughing and shaking her head at Travis’ introduction. “You guys are so mean,” she said.

Fans of the Kelce family no longer need their reminders from New Heights to keep the “Princess Kyana” nickname around. After Kylie and Jason met Travis’ girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, for the first time last month, some fans included mention of “Princess Kyana” in photos they later shared of Swift spending time with the Kelce family on social media.

One fan dubbed them both princesses, tweeting, “omg tayprincess and princess kyana.”

"Taylor/Princess Kyana supremacy,” another fan tweeted alongside a video of the two cheering together at a Chiefs game.

“Princess kyana deserves a key to the city of Cincinnati,” another fan declared on X.

Needless to say, fans will be keeping this moniker around.
