Fans Have Strong Reaction After Patrick Dempsey Undergoes Hair Transformation

What's all the buzz about Patrick Dempsey, you ask? The star literally just gave himself a dramatic haircut, and fans don't know how to react.
In a new video posted to social media, the actor took an electric shaver to his full head of hair and effortlessly buzzed away any new growth. And if we didn't know any better, we would assume that this probably wasn't the actor's first go at giving himself a fresh trim. But it just so happens that his wife, Jillian, is a well-known celebrity hairstylist, so he probably picked up a thing or two from her handbook—after all, she did post the video!
In an attempt to soften the blow to those hit hard by the loss of Dempsey's locks, the 56-year-old makeup artist captioned the post with a note of positivity, "Change is good!"

The stylist even offered a hint as to why the actor, 56, decided to shave his head, writing, "Have you ever buzzed your hair? Watch @patrickdempsey use clippers to eliminate the dyed hair from a character role and start fresh!"
She also noted that her "Roadie" was standing by, keeping an eye on Dempsey and helping with the finishing touches and edgy styling.
Despite the evenness of his new 'do, fans weren't so sure what to think.
"Jill, what are you thinking?" one heartbroken fan questioned, later adding, "his isn’t funny Jill, you made him get rid of his hero hair."
"girl u did not just shave all that hair," another quipped.
"never seen his hair this short before omg," another surprised fan stated.
Others, however, didn't seem to mind the change and celebrated its debut.
One admiring fan wrote, "he still manages to look good in every hair style."
"Oooooooh I love that buzz cut! ❤️," someone else gushed.
This isn't the first time Dempsey bewildered fans with a dramatic hairstyle change. This past fall, the actor riled up the Internet after debuting his bleach-blonde hair at Disney's D23 Expo.
