Country legend Reba McEntire recently announced that she had to be put on vocal rest after performing non-stop during her fall tour. But you would never know that after watching her performance at the 2022 CMA Awards on November 9.
Reba walked the red carpet in a stunning form-fitting long-sleeve blue dress. By her side was none other than her boyfriend Rex Linn, who wore a dapper black suit. Of course, the couple looked amazing and fans were thrilled to see them, but we were also a little surprised!
Many weren't expecting Reba to make the appearance after the health news surrounding her vocals, but what was even more shocking was when Reba walked out on stage to perform with Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. The trio came together to honor the incomparable Loretta Lynn who died in October. And to say that Reba brought down the house would be an understatement.
After Reba shared the clip on Instagram, fans quickly ran to praise her for not only showing up after needing vocal rest, but for also doing Loretta Lynn proud. "A legend singing another legend's song! Perfection," one person wrote. "You not only made Loretta proud, you made us all proud," said another. While a ton of "Love you Reba" comments flooded in as well.
For those who were unable to see Reba last weekend due to her vocal rest, the star has rescheduled the shows for December!
