Cole Hauser's latest post is getting a huge reaction from fans, and it has nothing to do with the upcoming season of Yellowstone (at least we don't think it does!).

On screen, Cole's character, Rip Wheeler, tends to be a man of few words. When he speaks, the other characters on the Paramount Network hit show tend to stop and take notice. The same could be said for the actor and his fans on social media. After months of filming on location in Montana (and enjoying visits from his wife and kids), Cole shared a somewhat cryptic message on Instagram.

The thought-provoking quote reads, "If only our eyes saw souls instead of bodies, how different our ideals of beauty would be." The quote is widely attributed online to former Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui. Cole dropped the post without a caption and let the quote's strong message speak for itself. Clearly, it resonated with fans. It got more than 44,000 likes and nearly 800 comments, including:

  • "Preach RIP"

  • "Seriously though 😢❤️"

  • "Yes Cole Hauser!! This is so true!"

  • "One’s soul is what creates the beauty"

  • "Isn’t that the truth 🙌🏼❤️"

  • "AMEN!!! ❤️"

Of course, we can't be sure what prompted Cole to post this message, but we appreciate that it caused people to take a moment from scrolling in their feeds to reflect on how we treat one another.

Cole and the rest of the cast will return on November 13 for season 5 of Yellowstone, and we can promise we'll be hanging on to every word!
