Martha Stewart

Martha Stewart has made her latest declaration, and it's sure to ruffle some feathers this fall.

The trustworthy homemaker sat down with Al Roker during the Nov. 6 edition of the Today Show, where the meteorologist grilled her on the topic of the popular seasonal flavor, pumpkin spice.

And, if you're a stout follower of Stewart's expertise, you may be disappointed, because the TV personality says it's out!

“In a pie, I love it," she began, leading in with a false start as she immediately shared that, "in anything else," it's a no-go.

Roker was delighted by the revelation, exclaiming, “Yes! Yes!” in response. “The queen has spoken. By royal decree, get rid of the pumpkin spice.” He, of course, has not been shy about his disdain for the artificial and pumpkinless chemicals that create the flavor.

Stewart continued, “I don’t like cappuccino with pumpkin spice in it, I just don’t,” with Roker affirming her opinion: "It's wrong."

"The Queen has spoken!" the series' official Instagram account declared. "What do you think? 👇."

Needless to say, fans weren't shy in expressing their decidedly mixed opinions.

"Noooooo Martha!! Noooooo," one wrote, with another stating plainly, "She’s wrong."

"I respectfully disagree with the Queen," somebody risked admitting, "but it's ok."

"Somewhere a pumpkin spice fairy just lost its wings 😂," another said, while someone went so far as to call the conversation "FAKENEWS," following up to accuse the duo of "treason."

Most who agreed with the take were much less dramatic about it, with one writing calmly, "I'm glad that I'm not the only one ❤️."

"Me too Martha!! Me too!!" someone else wrote, with another noting that they "totally agree."

Another expressed appreciation for the anti-pumpkin spice representation, writing, "Thank you Ms Martha! I’ve been saying this all along and people give me the stinky eye.."

So, what do you think? Classic fall flavor or overrated abomination?
