March 14, 2020, Reba McEntire’s mother, Jacqueline, passed away following a battle with cancer at the age of 93.

To commemorate the one-year anniversary of her passing, Reba recently released a music video tribute to go with her 2019 song, “You Never Gave Up On Me.” The song, which debuted on her album, Stronger Than the Truth, was in honor of her mother, who she says always believed in her no matter what. So, fittingly, the video depicted a montage of black-and-white photos of Reba and her mother over the years.

“One year ago yesterday, Mama went to heaven,” Reba wrote in the caption of the video sneak peek on Instagram. “I know she’s still not giving up on me. Thank you Mama.”

Naturally, Reba’s fans flocked to her comments section to rally around her during this difficult time.

“She never did. She truly was a spectacular woman,” Reba’s Reba co-star Melissa Peterman wrote. “And you are definitely your momma’s daughter ❤️❤️❤️you. This is beautiful.”

“Moms are forever,” one fan added.

“Sending my thoughts and prayers for you and your family,” someone else wrote.

“Beautiful, Reba,” another Instagram user chimed in. “She looks like such a loving and lovely mom.”
