Miranda Lambert stunned fans with her amazing musical set at the CMA Fest this year, which was held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.

She also fit in a great surprise guest for an iconic performance of their hit songs, and that was Avril Lavigne.

The Canadian singer joined Lambert on stage, and they performed "Kerosene" and "Sk8er Boi." The crowd went absolutely crazy for them, with a YouTube user sharing a video from the energetic event.

Lavigne also posted some photos from the night and a video on social media. It seemed like she had a great time, which led many fans to think that she plans to venture into country music soon.

One fan commented, "Country Avril is coming! 😍," while another said, "Country suits your voice so well. 😍."

Even the official Facebook Instagram account commented, "country superstar but make it punk."

A fan of both artists took to Twitter to discuss the surprise collaboration, writing, "avril lavigne being brought out as a surprise guest by miranda lambert, and her preforming skater boy this weekend was INSANE. i still can’t believe it???"

"Avril Lavigne and Miranda Lambert are the only people I care about tonight," tweeted someone with similar thoughts.

Before Lavigne appeared on stage, Lambert introduced her by saying that she was going to "make more badass happen right now," before calling the "Complicated" singer, "my bestie."

Along with the pop-punk artist, Lambert also welcomed Leon Bridges on stage to sing their new duet “If You Were Mine," and Elle King to sing “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home).”
