Many named Dion as one of the unbelievable omissions from the list.

Rolling Stone started off 2023 on a very divisive note thanks to its new article, entitled "The 200 Greatest Singers of All Time," published on the site.

Let's just say, many were not happy with the list, whether it was because of who was ranked where, or because some notable names didn't make the list at all.

But one of the biggest snubs, according to online users, was not including Celine Dion on the list, with fans of the 54-year-old outraged.

Fellow Canadian singer Jann Arden tweeted in response to the list, writing, "Celine Dion should be on this list. Full stop."

Producer and recording artist Jamie Lambert wrote, "Respectfully, not including Celine Dion, arguably the best vocal technician of all time, in this list is borderline treasonous."

Variety editor Clayton Davis highlighted Dion's vocal mastery as one of the many reasons she should've been included, tweeting, "If we are going by the mere definition of vocal abilities, then not having Celine Dion is objectively incorrect and would have nothing to do with taste. If we go by sound, you would still be wrong. Ergo, there are some headscratchers with rankings, inclusions, and omissions."

Some of the other shocking omissions include Bruno Mars, Hayley Williams, Dionne Warwick, and Nat King Cole, with one person saying, "Aside from the total omissions of Adam Lambert, Celine Dion, and Andrea Bocelli, how could this list possibly NOT include the incomparable Nat King Cole? Do better @RollingStone."

Other people had problems with the list order, questioning why some vocalists were higher than others. For example, many found issue with the fact that Freddie Mercury was not in the top 5, and that Kelly Clarkson was all the way down at 194

Overall, it looks like there is a lot to debate about Rolling Stone's new list, whether you agree with it or not.
