Fans Noticed a Masked Man Hidden in J.Lo's Abs Selfie

From ELLE

Well, here's a dark twist no one expected from a Jennifer Lopez abs shot: Fans have noticed that a masked man is hiding in the back of Lopez's gym selfie. E! revealed his identity Wednesday afternoon, but initially, his presence wasn't explained. Instagram commenters were bewildered more than anything. "Who’s that guy tied up in the back??" one wrote.

"Who’s that in the mirror over your shoulder?" another commented.

"Why is there a dude with his mouth getting covered in the background?" a third wrote.

"Anyone notice the guy in the mask? Lol," a fourth added. And the comments go on and on.

Here's the guy, for reference:

And here's the full shot:

E! reports the man is someone Alex Rodriguez was having a Zoom call with. "Their office is attached to a gym and is separated by curtains from their office space," a source close to the couple said. "When they are doing a Zoom, they project it onto a big screen. If you look closely you can see Alex's arm in a navy blue shirt. He's sitting in front of their desk, with the big screen on it, so the image of the person you're seeing is who is on his Zoom call. That man was covering his mouth with his hand."

Lopez did give an interview to Entertainment Tonight earlier this week where she touched on her future wedding plans and what her first dance with her fiancé Alex Rodriguez will be like. "Well, I know a lot of different styles. Knowing me, it will be a big production of some sort," Lopez said. "I don't know what it will be yet."

Rodriguez spoke about what planning in quarantine has been like to Entertainment Tonight as well. "We had a meeting on Zoom with our core [group of people and reps], kind of just going over what the next 12 months look like and we have three or four different variations of how that can look," he said. "Usually when you underwrite a year—whether [in terms of] scheduling or financially—you never think that it's going to just stop like this. So we're having to be very fluid, think on our feet and just think very proactively."
