Fans are Melting Over Chip Gaines' Incredibly Heartfelt Post to Joanna

Chip Gaines, one half of the power couple behind HGTV’s Fixer Upper, recently took to Instagram to celebrate a major life milestone: 20 years of marriage to wife (and business partner!) Joanna Gaines.
In his heartfelt post, Chip expressed gratitude for two decades of love and partnership the two have shared (their relationship timeline is major #couplegoals). He referred to Joanna as "the most incredible, most powerful, most beautiful woman" he’s ever known. “You've given me the most beautiful life and I'm so grateful to God for you. I'm a better man because of you."
Joanna shared a shorter, sweeter tribute to her husband with a cute photo booth video of the pair. “What a wonderful 20 years 🫶 Happy Anniversary @chipgaines!” she captioned her post.
Magnolia fans and well-wishers flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages, many having followed the couple’s journey from the very beginning. “Happy anniversary to a couple who are an example to all who see you,” one wrote. “Love you two! My husband and I binged Fixer Upper during covid, and you guys inspired us to turn our lives upside down to pursue flipping together,” said another.
Chip and Joanna first met in Waco, Texas, where they both attended Baylor University. From their initial encounter, it was clear that they had a special connection. The then-twenty-somethings tied the knot on May 31, 2003. Magnolia Market opened the same year.
"We didn't have much figured out in the way of numbers and finances, but we believed in each other" wrote Chip in a blog post reflecting on their early days. The Gaines crew has since grown to include their five children: Drake, Ella Rose, Duke, Emmie Kay, and Crew. Despite the challenges that come with fame, Chip and Joanna have remained steadfast in their commitment to one another—always shutting down rumors of trouble in paradise.

With the Silos in full swing, the renovation of a historic castle under their belt, and a new season of Fixer Upper on the way, the couple are showing no signs of slowing down. Cheers to another 20 years of happiness to this incredible couple!
