Now, we've officially got a premiere date for their other show called Home Town Takeover, where we'll see the duo renovate an entire town with hopes of encouraging others to make a difference in their communities.

We've been waiting to learn more about the show, and Erin finally took to Instagram this week to reveal when we can all tune in. Fans will be able to watch the 6-episode series starting Sunday May 2, 2021.

Naturally, fans were ecstatic about learning the premiere date. "Hooray!👏 I’ve been waiting for this," one wrote on Instagram. "I'm glad to know when it will premiere," said another. "Hootyhoooooo for an air date!! So ready to see all that hard work on the big screen," someone commented.

As we wait for the premiere, here's everything else we know about the upcoming series:

Where is Home Town Takeover filmed?

Erin and Ben headed to Wetumpka, Alabama to film the new series, and restored 12 locations in the town including: restaurants, shops, historic homes and public spaces.

"After receiving a deluge of 5,000 submissions, representing 2,600 towns from around the country, HGTV selected Wetumpka because, despite hardships, natural disasters and unexpected setbacks, the community’s undying spirit and resilience showed that they were ready to kickstart a comeback with HGTV’s help," a press release reveals.

Erin and Ben revealed the location back in 2020 with a special called Home Town: Small Town Salute.

Are there any special guests?

How fun is this: Celebs like Sheryl Crow, Eddie Jackson and Randy Fenoli are going to be making appearances on the show.
