  • Nicole Kidman showed off incredibly toned abs and arms in a recent photoshoot.

  • In the shoot, the 55-year-old modeled designer fashions and a bright red, asymmetrical haircut.

  • Fans flooded the star’s comments section with love and support.

Nicole Kidman has been busy following her husband, Keith Urban’s, tour (and watching fans like Emma Roberts publicly declare their love for her hubby—we can’t blame them). But, Kidman has been busy with projects of her own. In fact, her latest Covergirl moment is one for the books. She posed for the British magazine Perfect’s September issue, and the preview images are jaw-dropping. The 55-year-old embodies an almost superhuman-like vibe with a bright red asymmetrical haircut, futuristic clothing, and incredibly toned abs and arms on full display.

In the cover image, photographed by Zhong Lin, Kidman flexes her arms, wearing a Diesel designer tank and belt fashioned as a skirt. In others, she wears a matching denim bra and jeans set (while holding an old-fashioned camcorder), a black tracksuit, a see-through purple body suit, thigh-high leather boots, and more. The editorial shoot celebrates designer Glenn Martens’ “Perfect Fashion” award and showcases his designs.

In teasing her interview, Kidman shared a few of the images on Instagram, tagging Perfect’s founder Katie Grand. “Thank you darling @KEGrand 💋 @ThePerfectMagazine,” she wrote. Needless to say, fans and followers were not ready for such iconic images to pop up in their feeds.

“Wowza all of these pics!! And those abs nic!!! 🙌💪🔥,” Naomi Watts wrote. “Wow!!!! 😍😍😍,” Kerry Washington commented. “Goddess in every way! A true icon ✨♥️,” another added.

Kidman has always stayed active and in shape, but aside from the magic of photo editing, it’s unclear if she followed any special routines to prep her arms and abs for the camera.

In 2014, she told The Los Angeles Times that she likes to mix up her workouts to keep them interesting. “Variety is the best way I’ve found. If you think you are going to wake up and run five miles every morning for the rest of your life, you’ll get bored and hit the snooze button after a week,” she said. “So I try and mix it up with sports, running, yoga, and even just going for a walk with my husband and the kids.” She added that she loves being outside when she can and taking spin classes.

Kidman’s full interview with Perfect is currently available for pre-order and releases September 1. We can’t wait to see what photos she’ll drop next.
