When you get invited to the one and only Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday concert, you simply don’t pass up the opportunity. The recent two-day event, officially titled Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90, took place at the Hollywood Bowl and welcomed a lovely mix of Nelson’s celebrity friends—including Jennifer Garner and Helen Mirren, who introduced musicians and enjoyed the show from backstage, as pictured in a video Garner posted to Instagram.

“Our own little Stagecoach celebrating @willienelsonofficial’s 90th birthday,” Garner captioned a carousel of photos and videos with cameos from Mirren, Miranda Lambert, The Chicks, and Ethan Hawke. “Thank you for including me. Happy birthday, Willie! 🤠♥️”

According to USA Today, Mirren introduced Tom Jones and Garner, The Chicks and Lambert. In Garner’s video, she and Mirren bounced arm-in-arm while watching the artists perform before cheering and applauding their work.

Fans couldn’t get enough of the star-studded event and they loved Garner and Mirren’s dance moves. “Omg Dame Helen Mirren 😍 adorable,” one person commented. “Now that’s an evening out!!” another added. “You are simply the coolest,” someone else wrote.

The union of so many busy stars speaks to the long-standing impact Nelson has had on music and entertainment. Garner, for instance, is currently wrapping up promotion of her new TV series, The Last Thing He Told Me (for which she relied on a hydrating skin tint and so many great outfits, including a black sparkly strapless body-con dress) in addition to being a mom of three and owner of her organic snack foods brand, Once Upon a Farm. (See: the morning ritual that helps her stay sane amidst it all.)

And at 77, Mirren is just as busy, anticipating season two of the Yellowstone spinoff 1923, in which she stars opposite Harrison Ford, whom she recently opened up about filming bedroom scenes with. “I’m lying there and I’m thinking, ‘I’m in bed with Harrison Ford,’” she joked to The Wrap.I was so excited, I can’t tell you. I had to pretend to be cool. Don’t tell him. Promise me.” Earlier this year, she told Deadline she’s “fascinated” to see where her character, Cara Dutton, will go.

The man of the event, Nelson, clearly shows no signs of slowing down, either. He recently told Parade that he gets bored when he’s not working. So it goes without saying that everyone’s carefree night of music and dancing was much deserved.

Happy Birthday, Willie!
