  • Helen Mirren, Sharon Stone, Drew Barrymore, and Mariah Carey posed together after the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda show on Saturday, and the photos were everything.

  • The quartet wore opulent colors, glamorous jewels, and confident smiles.

  • Truly, they’re the pro-aging crew we didn’t know we needed.

On Saturday, at a Dolce & Gabbana show in Italy, runway models were nearly upstaged by the power quartet we didn’t know we needed: Helen Mirren, Sharon Stone, Drew Barrymore, and Mariah Carey stole the show in gowns as colorful as their personalities.

After the event—which showcased pieces from the design house’s exclusive, custom label Alta Moda—the celebs and fast friends gathered to pose for pictures. Stone shared a clip of their photoshoot to Instagram, simply captioning it with four white heart emojis and tagging her fellow attendees.

In the clip, Stone, 64, wears a gold and teal gown with a train adorned in colorful, embroidered florals—paired with layers of long, gold, chunky necklaces. Next to her, Mirren, 76, wears a metallic striped gown with statement puffed shoulders. Carey, 53, dons a bold patchwork-esque fitted dress (accessorized with a folding fan), and Barrymore, 47, wows in pink and red, embellished by flowers in her hair and across one shoulder.

The union of four such influential women was so exciting for fans. Plus, they all looked incredible. “What a moment !! ❤️❤️❤️,” one person commented. “I C O N I C,” another added. “Oh my goodness!! What a line-up of amazing ladies!! 💥💥💥💥♥️♥️♥️♥️,” someone else wrote.

Mirren shared additional photos in which she posed alongside her husband, Taylor Hackford. “An unforgettable evening in Syracuse, Sicily for the new @dolcegabbana Alta Moda collection. A truly magical event,” she captioned the post.

All four celebs provide unique contributions to the entertainment world, and they all have found empowerment in aging in some way. For Barrymorsie, it’s about aging naturally and avoiding plastic surgery. Carey simply refuses to acknowledge time so she can live her best life. After experiencing a near-fatal stroke, Stone is grateful to her body for carrying her through each day, she told Allure in 2019. And Mirren? She prefers to call it “growing up” instead of aging, which is pretty brilliant if you ask us.

“You have to continue working on yourself to a certain extent,” she recently told People for the outlet’s 2022 Beautiful Issue. “[It’s] simple really: Getting older. It happens. Other people call it growing older, but I call it growing up. And one of the advantages is that you literally get to be wiser. Life is a constant process of learning.”

She added that she loves to use the word “swagger” to describe herself. “I think swagger means I’m confident in myself, I’m presenting myself to the world, I’m enjoying the world around me,” she said.

And that’s exactly what she, and her three fellow bad*ss friends, were doing in Sicily over the weekend.
