Angie Harmon has taken on a new role: wildlife rehabilitator!

The Rizzoli & Isles alum introduced her fans to her new little patient in a pair of Instagram videos uploaded to the social media platform yesterday, Sept. 15, in which she cradled a baby squirrel in one hand.

"He's just the most precious boy," she cooed over the creature, seemingly cleansing him with a cotton ball in the first clip. As he nuzzled into the soft material she melted, telling the camera operator, "Look at him, look!" before turning her attention back to her "baby boy."

"Hi you," she said sweetly.

In another video she fed him from a dropper, encouraging and praising him as he suckled on the end of the syringe. When he was full, she gently wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"Totally NUTS about this little guy!!! (See what I did there?😉🐿️🌰🍼)," she wrote alongside the video, introducing the little rescue. "I haven’t slept in two weeks but I’ve never been happier! Everyone meet Thomas, Thomas meet everyone!"

Fans were awestruck by the sweet gesture, flooding the comments with praise for the actress.

"Bless your loving heart and beautiful soul, you truly are a magnificent gift to this world! You're in the best hands you could be in little Thomas! ❤️," one fan gushed.

"Aww Angie he’s absolutely beautiful I love how you love animals you’re a very special soul he is very lucky to be a part of your loving family he’s so precious thanks for sharing love to you all 💕💕," said another.

"Awwww- universal mothering mode activated!" Jewel wrote.

Several also inquired about the inspiration behind Thomas' name, as well as how she came to foster him, but so far, the actress—and newly minted squirrel mom—has remained mum.
