Renowned for her red hair, it’s only fitting that she starred as a mermaid.
Fans went wild when she shared a BTS look at her transformation for the movie.
We could all use a little laugh in today’s day and age, which is likely why Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar is such a welcome comedy. The movie debuted on February 12 and while fans were already prepared to laugh with Annie Mumolo (Barb) and Kristin Wiig (Star) at the helm, no one was expecting one of country music’s biggest stars to make a cameo. But that’s exactly what happened!
The one and only Reba McEntire starred as a mermaid in the film, which is only fitting given her famous red locks. While Reba typically keeps her hair short, for the film—and with the help of hairstylists—she rocked a long, curly wig fit for a sea queen. And, knowing that’s not her regular style, she shared a BTS look at how her new ‘do (and glam mermaid makeup) came to life.
