Fans Express Disappointment After Justin Bieber Fails to Show Up to Usher's Super Bowl Halftime Show

After convincing themselves that Justin Bieber would be one of Usher's many celebrity guests during his Super Bowl 2024 halftime show, fans took to Twitter to express their devastation after the "Baby" crooner remained seated throughout the performance.

When the Biebs was spotted entering a Las Vegas hotel on Saturday, Feb. 10, fans thought the collaboration was all but a done deal after rumors had previously arisen suggesting that he was in talks with the "Yeah!" singer to join him on the center of the field on Sunday, Feb. 11, but as Alicia Keys, Jermaine Dupri, H.E.R., Ludacris, Lil Jon, and Will.i.am came and went, hopeful viewers realized that they were in for disappointment.

"so no Justin Bieber?" one person wrote alongside a clip of someone ripping a flatscreen television off of a wall.

Someone else expressed similar sentiments alongside footage of someone hurling their drink against a flatscreen TV, before pounding their fists against it, leaving it broken.

The Chicks in the Office podcast's official account used a tearful gif to emphasize their feelings when "Usher’s performance ends and Justin Bieber is still in his seat."

Someone else reposted the viral footage of Travis Kelce yelling in Andy Reid's face after the coach removed him from the game for a break, jokingly captioning it, "WHERE IS JUSTIN BIEBER"?

Another fan admitted to purchasing Paramount+ to stream the game specifically to see Bieber, uploading a video clip from Family Feud to show how they felt about the failed appearance.

Someone else uploaded a gif of someone roller skating away with some fancy footwork, likening it to Usher's response when fans asked for a Bieber cameo.

Most were still content with the performance, though, in awe over the Vegas-inspired costuming, Usher's shirtless moment, and more.
