Fans Are Convinced G-Eazy Cheated on Halsey
Halsey and G-Eazy recently announced their breakup after about a year of dating-and while Halsey's official statement made it seem like the breakup was drama-free, fans are convinced G-Eazy was unfaithful thanks to her recent tweets.
First of all, here's Halsey's statement about the breakup (which she released on Instagram Stories):
"G-Eazy and I are taking some time apart. I’m eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and my career and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time."
But since then, Halsey has tweeted a few telling things. First, she tweeted and then deleted a scissors emoji-which fans assumed (perhaps incorrectly!) was a reference to G-Eazy's "Him & I" lyrics, "Ever catch me cheating, she would try to cut my d*ck off."
Halsey then tweeted the words "pumpkin eater," which fans assumed was a reference to the rhyme "cheater, cheater pumpkin eater." This tweet is still alive and well on Halsey's timeline, despite the fact that almost every fan comment is full of cheating conspiracy theories.
