Fans Are Confused By New Beyoncé Wax Figure Unveiled in Berlin

The reactions are mixed, to put it lightly.

Fans of Beyoncé got a sweet new surprise this week when Madame Tussauds Berlin unveiled their newest wax figure, but reactions to the news came out a little more mixed than you may expect.

The popular museum revealed the news on Instagram on Friday, Jan. 27, with a montage of shots of the latest addition set to the singer's viral song "CUFF IT."

According to one Twitter user, the outfit of choice for the new model was based on the opening night of her On The Run II tour in Berlin. The figure wears an intricately detailed black and white, long-sleeved mini dress featuring beaded detailing and a matching pair of thigh-high boots over a pair of nude fishnets.

Her wavy hair is pulled up in a high ponytail and she strikes a fierce pose, but some felt things were a bit off with her appearance, though not everyone could put their finger on what the problem was, exactly.

Just before the start of the winter holidays, Queen B is coming to Madame Tussauds Berlin! 🎊

Berlin loves you! Do you love Beyoncé? ❤️

Some fans thought they'd nailed the megastar's likeness, with Instagrammers commenting things like, "Now THIS is BEYONCÉ 🔥🔥🔥," "Yes finally y’all did it right," and, "please replace the one in orlando with an updated oneeeee 🥹🥹🫶🏾but THIS is BEAUTIFUL."

But Twitter had different opinions, suggesting that they never get the "Halo" singer right.

"Wtf is the Madam Tussaud’s crew smoking every time they do the Beyoncé wax figure?" one Twitter user wanted to know.

A few users accused the creators of white-washing the singer each time they debuted a new iteration, and never getting her nose right.

"I mean that is very much not Beyoncé but compared to all the other wax figures of her this one kinda ate idk," one admitted.

"idk i feel like they melt a little before display cause they’re always close but not close enough," another response read, followed by a more positive analysis: "This one is pretty good. A lot of those wax figures are off by a mile, but this one is pretty doggone close."

"Aye, this one actually looks good. I understand the struggle, it’s hard to recreate perfection," another defended.

The back and forth left some who were undecided even more confused, with one writing, "is it me but THAT doesn’t look like beyoncé but all the comments are good so..?"

Fans just couldn't come to an agreement, with one going so far as to advise, "Stop making wax figures of Beyoncé. Period."
