Fans Can't Stop Talking About How Jerry O'Connell Shut Down Awkward Question About John Stamos

John Stamos has been busy promoting his new memoir If You Would Have Told Me, which documents some of the most pivotal moments in his life. One such instance that he references in the book is his break-up with model Rebecca Romijn, who he divorced in 2005 after seven years of marriage. While he's since found love with Caitlin McHugh, Rebecca's husband Jerry O'Connell is speaking out about John being so public about his and Rebecca's split.
The Talk co-host recently appeared on Access Hollywood, where he discussed his current projects and what it's like to be on daytime TV. Toward the end of the interview, hosts Kit Hoover and Mario Lopez broached the subject of Jerry and Rebecca being subjects in John's book.
"You know, it’s not really my place to say [anything]," he disclosed in the interview uploaded on October 23. "I would rather my wife talk about that."
While he didn't want to give his true opinion about being in the headlines, he did share that he and Rebecca received no "warning" about being in John's book. But then he joked that he didn't want to comment any further because he didn't want any trouble at home.

"My wife and I are getting along so well today," he hilariously added.
Afterwards, Mario called Jerry a "wise man," with his response, and fans couldn't have agreed more. "Jerry you handle that question amazingly," one commented on YouTube. "Good answer Jerry," said another. "Jerry is a good, smart, and respectful guy to leave it up to Rebecca to comment," someone else wrote.
As fans of John may know, he and Rebecca wed in 1998 and divorced seven years later. Rebecca later married Jerry in 2007, and the two are the parents of twin daughters Dolly and Charlie. As for John, he married Caitlin in 2018 and the duo welcomed their son Billy in April of that year.
Despite the way Jerry and John are tied together, Jerry is all up for meeting his wife's ex should they run into one another at some point.
"I have not [seen him], but I make sure that my hair is perfect every day just in case I do," he teased on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen in October 2021. "I am on the lookout. It would be super friendly if we did [see each other]."
