• Thanks to quarantine, they hadn’t had a good ol’ night at the movies—until last week, when the pair rented out an entire theatre.

This week in adorable celebrity dating news: Reba McEntire and Rex Linn rented out an entire AMC movie theatre for their first-ever date at the movies.

“AMC offers private screenings.... we took them up on it. First movie date!” Reba captioned her gallery post, which included photos of her and Rex (in masks) holding a bounty of snacks, as well as snaps of them cozied up in the empty theatre.

While the date night idea might be a bit over-the-top, fans of the duo are anything but annoyed. Celebs and fans alike took to the comments to show their support.

"Looks like y’all had funnn!!! Going to have to try this!" Tanya Tucker said.

“Y’all are so cute!!!” one Instagram user commented on the post, while another chimed in with “You two are adorable."

“Y’all are true couple goals. Cute as can be,” another wrote.

The couple planned their solo movie experience to watch Tom Hanks’ new movie, News of the World. While this was the pair’s first movie outing, they’ve been keeping busy since they started seeing each other in January 2020. We can't wait to see what other adorable date nights are in their future!
