Fans Are Bombarding Kacey Musgraves's Instagram After She Shares Huge News

Kacey Musgraves is leaving fans absolutely speechless by releasing a new single, album release date, and film all in one weekend.
The Golden Hour singer recently celebrated her 33rd birthday on August 21. Usually the person celebrating their birthday gets all the gifts, but Spacey Kacey is gifting fans with exciting news. Here's how it all went down on Instagram.
First, Kacey posted a series of 15 cloud-filled posts on Instagram with snippets of lyrics for her brand-new single, Star Crossed. Each post teased the lyrics to a heartbreaking song that hint at her divorce from ex-husband, Ruston Kelly. The two went their separate ways after two years of marriage.
"Let me set the scene / Two lovers ripped right at the seams / They woke up from the perfect dream / And then the darkness game," read the track lyrics.
As if fans weren't already stunned with excitement for a new, unreleased track, Kacey dropped more exciting news on her Instagram. Come September 10, she will release her follow up to Grammy-winning album, Golden Hour. The new album is also titled Star-Crossed. Similar to Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," Kacey describes Star-Crossed as "a modern tragedy told in three acts."
While fans were still busy commenting things like "So pumped," "Omgggg I'm ready!" and "I am not okay 😭💕😭," Spacey Kacey dropped even more exciting news. She announced a film that will accompany her Star-Crossed album. The film will also be released on September 10 with her album and is exclusively available on Paramount Plus.
