The official CMA instagram account shared the news and asked fans, "Who are you most excited to see LIVE at the #CMAawards next Wednesday, Nov. 9?! 🤩" and fans jumped in with comments like, "Patty Loveless!!! OMG this is SOOOOO exciting!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️," "Yesss Zac Brown Band!!!" and "Reba!!!"

One singer stood out on the list and got the biggest reaction from fans: Katy Perry! It might be a surprise to see an appearance by the pop star and Luke Bryan's American Idol co-host, but Katy Perry teamed up with Thomas Rhett for his recent hit, "Where We Started." Thomas Rhett said about the song and music video, "Working with Katy has been a really collaborative process. From tracking the song in the studio, to performing on it American Idol, to this video—her input has made this whole experience really special for me."

We can't wait to see them perform it live, along with all of the other acts! CMA Awards air live on Wednesday, November 9, on ABC. If you miss the broadcast, catch up the next day on Hulu.
