Jennifer Aniston Warms Fans’ Hearts With Throwback Childhood Photo

In the Emmy winner’s photo, she appears to be a toddler with the same caramel-colored tresses and smile. Her father, actor John Aniston, is seen donning a black coat and denim while her mother, actress Nancy Dow, sported a white peacoat with a chic polka-dot headband.

Aniston matched her mother with a similar patten and vintage turtleneck as the family posed beside rocks on a beach. In her February 12th Instagram caption, the We’re the Millers actress wrote, “Thinking about these two humans that created me as I bask in the afterglow of a beautiful birthday.”

She added, “Thank you ALL for my beautiful birthday wishes. I felt sooooo much love from so many and ALL of it is going to carry me through this wild and beautifully unknown year ahead. I love you!”

Naturally, Aniston’s post garnered millions of likes and thousands of comments from fans and famous friends. “Happy Birthday, you beautiful tush!!! I’m glad you are surrounded by such love,” Chelsea Handler wrote as Kate Hudson and Leslie Mann commented with red heart emojis. “Such a touching photo,” Rita Wilson added.

The Golden Globe winner wrote a message to her dad (and made many tear up) in her caption, “Sweet papa…⁣ John Anthony Aniston, You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew.” She continued, “I am so grateful that you went soaring into the heavens in peace – and without pain.”  She then highlighted the significance of her father’s passing date, “And on 11/11 no less! You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now.” She concluded her note, along with a dove and broken heart emoji, “I’ll love you till the end of time, Don’t forget to visit.”
