The former 'Real Housewives of New York City' star compared her bikini body to Kelly Ripa's in a bizarre new snap.

Bethenny Frankel has been trying to promote body positivity on her social media in recent months, but her latest post has raised eyebrows among some of her followers.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum took to Instagram this week to share an unedited photo of her backside in bikini bottoms as she dropped her pants while standing on a dog bed in her living room and posed for a realistic shot of her butt. The cheeky snap was then paired side-by-side next to a photo of Kelly Ripa wearing similarly shaped bikini bottoms bottoms at the beach, revealing the talk show host's extremely toned booty.

"Who wore it best?" Frankel, 52, captioned the post, adding, "PS. Am I still eligible for a January gym membership discount? And I would kiss miss Kelly’s ass any day of the week! Perfection!"

While many fans were impressed with the reality star rawness and openness about her body, some followers were confused by the overt comparison of two women's bodies, as it naturally caused many people to take aim at Ripa's body type.

"Bethenny = 🔥🔥😍 Kelly = meh," one user commented.

"You wore it best because you wore it real," added another, while dozens more comments called Ripa's body photoshopped.

"You look way better than Kelly any day!" someone else chimed in.

Others condemned the idea of comparing two different women's body types altogether, especially when one of them is very vocal about her rigorous workout habits. One person commented, "I'm so glad you both have amazing bodies. But I don't know if we want to promote [the idea of] 'Hey, let's be obsessed with working out and food and try to be in competition with each other.'"

"I know this is supposed to be like look I'm real but it's giving me humble brag vibes while trying to be funny and relatable," someone else added.

"Why does this feel like shade?" another wondered, while plenty of others appreciated Frankel's candor and celebrated her body as it is.

"You don't need to compare yourself to ANYONE! You're perfection," another account added.
