In that same conversation, the actress spilled the beans that her date for the night was none other than her dad, standing right behind her.

Pulling up alongside his daughter, her dad warmly greeted the interviewers. When asked what was the best advice he has given his daughter, he shared, "Hang in there."

Taylor-Joy revealed at the end saying, "15 years ago I said if I ever got to go to the Oscars, I'd bring [my dad]."
