  • Beyoncé’s fans are furious with Taylor Swift’s performance at the Billboard Music Awards, accusing her of ripping off Bey’s iconic Coachella performance with her drum line.

  • FYI, Taylor was at the BBMAs performing her new song “ME!” for the first time with Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco.

Taylor Swift just opened the Billboard Music Awards with her new all-caps song “ME!” and it was best described as a colorful explosion of good vibes. Taylor took the stage with Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco, and in true TS7 form, the stage was filled with sparkles, rainbows, hearts, butterflies, the essence of JoJo Siwa, and positivity. But fans are taking majorrrrrrr issue with her performance starting off with a drum line-evoking a very similar vibe to Beyoncé’s iconic Coachella show.

Fans quickly hit Twitter to make their feelings more than clear, with comments ranging from “I don’t know if y’all are seeing this, but Taylor Swift is gentrifying Beyoncé’s Coachella performance right now” to “Taylor Swift, imma let you finish but Beyoncé had the greatest drum line of all time” to “How dare Taylor Swift copy off of Beyoncé’s Homecoming with the marching band!!! Have some originality, you can be inspired but don’t just straight-up copy it. If Homecoming wasn’t out, she would not have done this and we all know it.”

Take a look at the reactions below, although honestly, this is just a small glimpse of what the Beyhive is serving up right now.

Well, do you think this criticism is fair, or?
