If there's one person who can expertly mix high and low, it’s Joanna Gaines. The Fixer Upper star has outfitted plenty of her studio kitchens with a shockingly affordable range. The brand in question? Ilve. The Italian company's stoves have the old-world feel of a custom Italian stove, like a glossy enamel finish, brass trim, and finial-style knobs, without the shocking price tag. Meet the Ilve, which starts at $3,200.

That’s not exactly cheap, we know, but it’s a much more budget-friendly way to get that upscale farmhouse look. To put Ilve's Nostalgie Series, which is featured in Gaines’s kitchens, in context, similar ranges from Viking, Smeg, and Wolf clock in at at least $10,000. La Cornue, a French brand Gaines also has been known to favor, starts at $10K and goes way past six figures.

Gaines (and her fans) recently took to Instagram to dish about their favorite Fixer Upper kitchens, and, unsurprisingly, plenty of fans picked the one that features a blue-gray Ilve range front and center. We tend to agree. After all, the Ilve 40-inch Nostalgie Convection range is one of the most stylish elements in the room. Did we mention you can get it comes in more than 27 other colors and finishes?

If you're detecting an authentic Italian feel, it's because Ilve is truly, deeply Italian. The company was founded outside Venice in 1952, when two friends, Eugenio Illoti and Evelino Berno, started developing a range worthy of nearby restaurants’ renowned menus.

Here’s the thing, though: Unless you’re planning a trip across the pond any time soon, you probably can't check out an Ilve Nostalgie range in person before you buy it. That said, the stylish ovens are sold across a few of our favorite retailers, including Wayfair. You may not be able to inspect the glossy finish, muted hardware, or size IRL, but it’s good enough for Gaines, which makes it good enough for us (and hopefully you, too!).
