Fan's "Twilight" Saga Out of Context Twitter Account Goes Viral

We deserve this.

Our dreams of a potential Twilight sequel starring Halsey and Kristen Stewart might be forever dashed, but thanks to the debut of a particularly hilarious Twitter account, we've been reminded of why we love this tale of vampires, werewolves, and Chief Swan so much.

It's 2019 and we've finally gotten the "Twilight Saga Out of Context" Twitter account we've always deserved. Earlier this week, @ooctwilight quickly went viral, earning the approval of social media for compiling the best of the worst moments in Twilight history. From that famous baseball scene soundtracked by Muse that will forever remain a cinematic masterpiece to the shocking discovery that maybe La Push Beach wasn't as crowded as Edward Cullen thought, this account is truly a gift to Twilight fans everywhere.

With social media officially on board with this account, we talked to the creator, who goes by Alexis, to find out what inspired such creative genius. As this Twilight aficionado explained, a recent rewatch of the films led to a desire to share the Twilight joy with others. "While watching them, I noticed a few things," Alexis said. "Like how unintentionally hilarious these movies can be, how good the soundtracks are, and how it takes me back to much simpler times, because looking back, I didn't have anything to worry about back when I was 13."

As for what scene Alexis loves the most? That honor belongs to the always incredible moment that Bella found out Jacob's nickname for Renesmee. And as Alexis explained, these movies continue to serve a very important purpose. "Sometimes you need to have a 10-hour Twilight marathon on your day off and enjoy Edward almost puking at the smell of Bella when she walks in. Just to stay humble." And we'd definitely have to agree.
