Family Guy’s Peter Griffin Drops Into Fortnite

Family Guy’s Peter Griffin is now a playable character in Fortnite.

Added to the online battle royale game over the weekend in a free update, the beloved animated character enters the fight with a glider in the shape of a big BLUE Peter head.

He even has a special animation when he’s knocked down.

As recorded by @SpiderMineshaft on Twitter, when Peter’s ‘killed’ in the game, he falls to the ground and clutches his knee in pain. It’s a reference to a running gag from the show that often follows whenever Peter hurts himself. Check out the clip below.

Much has also been made of Peter’s character model in the game. The usually rotund figure sports a more svelte frame, and there's a very good reason for that: he would've presented an unfairly big target to shoot at otherwise.

The canon reason, however, as shown in an clip released on the official Fortnite YouTube channel, shows that Peter get swole by drinking a can of Slurp given to him by a musclebound cat. It's as good an explanation as any.
