After hosting Family Feud for over a decade, Steve Harvey often knows all things that have to do with the answers featured on a multitude of surveys. But sometimes even he gets proven wrong, as he learned during a funny moment on the popular game show.

In a video from the series dating back to 2010, fans see the TV personality starting off a round by asking the families to "name a word or phrase that starts with 'pot.'" As the camera cut to a contestant named Laura from the Piergrossi family, she concentrated on attempting to come up with a formidable answer. When she replied with the word "potato" (spelled "pot-ta-to"), Steve immediately had thoughts over her submission for the survey.

"Potato?" he incredulously asked as the audience cheered her on. "Why y'all clapping?"

Because the Judge Steve Harvey star was taken aback by Laura's answer, she responded by getting technical about the spelling of the vegetable. "Does it start with pot?" she questioned Steve.

"Yes ma'am, it starts with 'pot,'" he replied. "But we all know no one says 'pot-ta-to.'"

Well, Steve couldn't believe it when the survey showed "potato" as the second answer on the board, because he had an epic reaction to being proven wrong. He not only placed his hand over his heart, but he stumbled his way to the podium to hold himself up from the surprise.

"I'm so sorry," he responded. "You're older, you know more than I do... forgive me, please!"

Steve wasn't the only one stunned by the outcome. When Family Feud fans saw the clip go viral on TikTok on April 30, they couldn't keep it together seeing Steve's over-the-top behavior.

"Love how Steve was so shocked 😂😂😂😂," one person wrote in the comments section. "It's always Steve's reaction that gets me 😂😂😂," a different follower added. "I love when they prove him wrong 😂😂," another agreed.

Well, if this shows us anything, it's that Steve will always surprise us... even when it's not him doing the surprising.
