For many, Family Dollar serves as a one-stop shop for common items, but shoppers should take note that there's now a recall on hundreds of their products.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recently announced that Family Dollar has issued a massive recall on over 400 personal care and drug products. The variety store recalled the items after discovering that between May 1 and June 10, certain products were stored outside of their temperature requirements and then inadvertently shipped to some Family Dollar stores.

Personal care and drug products from brands like Banana Boat, Suave, Dial, Colgate, and Neutrogena are among the items listed in a document shared by the FDA.

A handful of states, including Delaware, Alaska, and Hawaii, are unaffected by the recall as they did not receive products or do not have any Family Dollar stores.

"Family Dollar has notified its affected stores asking them to check their stock immediately and to quarantine and discontinue the sale of any affected product. Customers that may have bought affected product may return such product to the Family Dollar store where they were purchased without receipt," a company announcement from July 21 reads.

According to the statement, Family Dollar has yet to receive any consumer complaints or reports of illness related to the recall. If a customer were to experience any problems after using any of the products listed, the FDA recommends that they contact their physician or healthcare provider.

Customers can also report any adverse reactions or quality problems experienced with the recalled products to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program.
