Family Clothes Closet open Wednesday and Thursday
Apr. 15—WESTPORT — The Family Clothes Closet, an effort to help provide clothing to local people in need, is taking place from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, and Thursday, April 18, at the Westport Baptist Church Outreach Center on Main Street across from the church.
Gently used clothing is being accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.
There is no charge for the clothing being made available through this initiative. Clean up is set for Friday for anyone willing to help.
The Family Clothes Closet is supported by several local churches, working together, who believe in the concept of neighbors helping neighbors.
