Tom Brady has responded after a photo of himself and his children accidentally turned up in the CVS photo order of a random TikToker, who happens to be the sister of San Francisco 49ers tight end Jake Tonges. On Sunday night, Katie Tonges posted a video explaining how her mom ended up with a photo of a beaming Tom Brady and his three kids; Jack, Vivian, and his look-alike Benjamin.

The first image shows a group of young people, one of them Katie, wearing 49ers merch and smiling for the camera. “The photo my mom ordered to CVS,” reads text over the photo.

The next image shows Brady smiling with his kids in a remarkably similar tableau. “The photo my mom was given,” the overlaid text reads.

Katie then displays a text message, apparently from her father. “Mom sent a picture of you kids to CVS to give grandma for Christmas,” reads the message. “We just received them today and instead of you guys we get Tom Brady and his kids?”

Never one to miss a mention on social media, Brady dropped into the comments to give his version of events within just three hours of the post going up.

“My mom must have been printing some photos out in San Francisco,” the former Patriots QB said alongside a laughing emoji.

Though it’s still unclear who has the Tonges’ family photo, Katie wasn’t bothered. “Next time you’re in town we can do a photo swap,” she told Brady.

Many commenters called out the irony that Katie and her siblings were clad in 49ers swag in the photo. Brady grew up a rabid fan of the San Francisco team, and still supports them today. However, judging from the reactions, it seemed unclear whether many of the commenters knew that Katie was related to Jake. He signed with the 49ers in September after a sizzling collegiate career.

Though the Tonges family likely will have to reprint their holiday photo for grandma, Katie was still hopeful the original snap would come to good use. “Hoping his mom will frame our photo,” she laughed in the comments.
