Families celebrate Mother’s Day at Gage Park
TOPEKA (KSNT) — Mothers, and their families, had the chance to enjoy mothers day at gage park before showers started developing.
From riding the train, to picnics, to spending quality time with their families, mothers felt the love. 27 News met up with a few people celebrating the day and they told us why Mother’s Day is such a great day.
“I think Mothers Day is a great day, It gives mothers a chance to be recognized for all the hard work they do throughout the year,” Frankai Watson said.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the new moms out there, congratulations, Happy Mother’s Day to all,” Trenady Wright said.
