Fall Target Deal Days is Coming Next Week! Here's What to Expect
It wasn't so long ago that Black Friday (the Friday after Thanksgiving) marked the beginning of the holiday shopping season, but with online retailers competing with brick-and-mortar stores, sales have taken a life of their own and have started earlier and earlier each year.
With Christmas movies starting in October on multiple networks, it seems par for the course that holiday shopping kicks off in October as well!
With the success of Target Deal Days over the last few years (usually held in July to go toe-to-toe with Amazon's Prime Day), the national retailer recently announced a second Target Deal Days in October to usher in the holiday shopping season.
Here's everything we know about Fall's version of Target Deal Days.
What is Target Deal Days?
Target Deal Days is a semi-annual 3-day sales event at Target stores and online at Target.com that will include thousands of deals and savings.
When is Target Deal Days?
Target Deal Days runs from Oct. 6 through Oct. 8, 2022.

Is Target Deal Days in-store or online?
Both! There will be deals both online and in stores and will include Target-exclusive items.
What delivery options are available during Target Deal Days?
There are plenty of options to pick up your deals. You can choose to pick up your purchases in-store or have them delivered right to your door. You also have the option of same-day drive-up order pickup in as soon as two hours with no minimum purchase.
And, as always, free shipping is available for online orders of $35 or more when using your Target RedCard.
Will I need a membership to get the deals?
No membership is required to access the savings offered during Target Deal Days. To get extra savings, you may want to join Target Circle—a free-to-join rewards program. If you have a Target RedCard, you're also eligible for an additional 5% off your purchases when you use the card.
What are some of the top deals being offered during Target Deal Days?
There are hundreds of great deals to be had during Target Deal Days. We're anticipating deals will be announced during Deal Days that are similar to the huge savings offered back in July. Items like TVs, home theatre systems, KitchenAid stand mixers, Apple watches, Disney products and more will likely be on the list of savings during the October Deal Days. Top deals offered during the July Target Deal Days included a 10-speed Vitamix blender for $289.95 (regularly $449.99), iRobot Roomba e5 vacuum for $199.99 (regularly $299.99), and an Acer 11.6" Chromebook Laptop for $89.99 (regularly $179.99.)
What exclusive deals will be offered during Target Deal Days?
Along with Target-owned brands like A New Day, Boots & Barkley and AVA & VIV, Target teams up with the iconic FAO Schwarz. Starting in mid-October, FAO Schwarz toys will be offered in-store at Target, on Target.com and also at FAO Schwarz stores.
Does Target offer a Price Match Guarantee during the holidays?
They do! Target is extending their Holiday Price Match Guarantee beginning on Oct. 6 through Dec. 24. What that means for consumers is if any item purchased at Target between Oct. 6 and Dec. 24 drops lower, Target will price match it.
Does Target offer layaway plans?
Yes, Target offers buy now, pay later options so consumers can pay at their own pace.
