Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones apparently isn't very good at kickball

Over his seven seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, Julio Jones has turned into one of the better wide receivers in the NFL.

Just don’t add kickball to his list of skills.

Jones made an appearance at Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton’s fourth annual “Kicking It With Cam,” a massive charity kickball tournament benefitting the Cam Newton Foundation in Charlotte. He was just one of several players in attendance, joining NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Owens, Hornets big man Dwight Howard and multiple current Panthers players like Julius Peppers, Josh Norman, Greg Olsen, to name a few.

Though things didn’t go so smoothly when Jones went to actually kick the ball.

Jones refused to comment to the Charlotte Observer’s Joseph Person, saying only that he was in town to support Newton. The reason for his silence, though, likely has little to do with his whiff on the kickball field and more to do with the fact that Jones was a no-show at the Falcons’ OTAs last month.

Though after watching that video, it’s probably safe to say that Jones should stick to football.
