Tim McGraw wanted to celebrate his birthday with something simple: his favorite meal.

In an Instagram post from May 1, Faith Hill shared a video of the southern dish that McGraw was strongly craving on his 56th birthday.

"Happy birthday! It's what you wanted, baby. Mmm-hmm. Dig in!" Hill is heard saying off-camera in the clip.

"My husband couldn't wait until dinner for his favorite meal so we are having it for lunch……most likely again for dinner," the country star wrote in the caption, going on to break down everything that was on the plate: "pot roast, rice and gravy, peas and cornbread and collard greens—with sweet tea, of course."

Hill ended the caption writing, "Happy birthday my love."

McGraw and Hill's friends and family couldn't help commenting on the comfort meal.

"😂❤️ love y'all," wrote their 21-year-old daughter Audrey. "Oh that looks delicious! Happy Birthday, Tim!!!" chimed in Rita Wilson.

The country power couple's fans also had some thoughts about the birthday lunch.

"Faith, that looks so good to eat. Good southern cooking," said one, while another wrote, "Awwwwwww way to a southern Birthday 🎂 boy’s ❤️ My hubby would sure be in heaven with that meal!!!! Happiest of Birthdays!!!"

McGraw recently talked about his tour cravings in an interview with Taste of Country. He said that he doesn't have an elaborate rider for his concerts, but has one snack he always needs in his green room: peanut M&Ms. The singer also enjoys tuna sandwiches, Muscle Milk and Mexican Coke, which comes in the classic glass bottles.
