Anniversary celebration at Mount Sinai Baptist Church

On Nov. 5 Pastor Larry Rawls and his wife Sharon will celebrate their 13th pastoral anniversary hosted by the Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 275 Grace St. in Mansfield. On this date there will be two services.

The 11 a.m. morning service will be dedicated to Lady Sharon Rawls, and the guest speaker will be Elder Shirley Jordan, co-pastor of the Oasis of Love Church of God In Christ in Mansfield.

At 3:30 p.m. Dr. Derek Williams and the Mount Calvary Baptist Church will join with Mount Sinai to celebrate Pastor Larry Rawls for 13 years of service.

The public is welcome at both services.

Trunk-or-Treat set for this Saturday in Shelby

SHELBY — Shelby's First Lutheran Church is gearing up for a spooktacular Halloween event that will delight children and adults alike. On Saturday, the church will host a Trunk-or-Treat extravaganza in its parking lot at 33 Broadway at approximately 2:15 p.m. after the Halloween Parade passes the Broadway/Main Street intersection. It will continue for about an hour. The parade begins at 2 p.m.

Plymouth church to host dinner

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth St. Joseph Catholic Church at 199 Sandusky St. is having its annual turkey/roast beef dinner from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 5.

The menu includes turkey or roast beef, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and dessert. The cost is $12.

There also will be a 50/50 drawing.

Rummage sale at St. Mary's

St. Mary’s Church at 1630 Ashland Road in Mansfield will host its fall rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 2-3, and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 4. The sale will be held in the church basement.

Rev. Will Humphrey to speak at All Souls

BELLVILLE — All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church of Bellville, 25 Church St., will welcome the Rev. Will Humphrey as guest speaker at 10:30 a.m. Sunday for a presentation titled “Masks, Identities and Belonging."
