M1 Church to host free Fall Fest on Sunday

M1 Church will host its second annual Free Fall Fest at 2 p.m. Sunday on the church grounds at 1000 McPherson St., near the Trimble exit on U.S. 30 in Mansfield. Activities will include inflatables, a pumpkin launcher, festival games, playground, family photo booth, cider press, a pumpkin patch, and free carnival food.

An Xbox Series S 1 TB door prize will be given away at the end of the event at 3:30 p.m. You must bepresent to win.

The rain date for the festival is Oct. 29.

Trunk or Treat at First Congregational

First Congregational Church will hold Trunk or Treat from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 21) in its parking lot at 640 Millsboro Road in Mansfield. There will be free candy, prizes and costumes.

Piano recital to kick off artist series

The First Congregational Church of Mansfield presents the Dr. Richard Wink Memorial Artist Series for 2023-2024.

The first performance will be a piano duet recital with Gulimina Mahamuti and George Lopez at 11 a.m. on Oct. 28 in the church sanctuary, 640 Millsboro Road, Mansfield.

The Chancel Choirs will present Dan Forrest’s "LUX: The Dawn from on High" with soloists and orchestra at 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 10 in the church sanctuary.

Rainbow Eagle to speak at All Souls

BELLVILLE — All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church of Bellville, 25 Church St., will welcome Rainbow Eagle as guest speaker at 10:30 a.m. Sunday for a presentation titled “Master Jesus Teachings and Nature.”

Rainbow Eagle will share some of the teachings of Jesus that refer to Mother Earth. He and his "Walk-Beside" (wife Mary Rainbow Snake Woman) make use of their 1,074 footnoted book, "The Ancient Roots of Christianity: A Native American's Look Through Christianity." The book will be available for only $10 or two for $15 and will be signed.

Free meal and trick or treat after party at Mifflin church

MIFFLIN — St. Michael Lutheran Church, 26 E. Maine St. in Mifflin, is hosting a free home-cooked meal and music by Simply Annette and Company Saturday (Oct. 21). The church's free community meal and fellowship begins at 5 p.m. followed by music at 6 p.m.

St. Michael will also host a Trick or Treat After Party at 7 p.m. Thursday. There will be chili, hotdogs, and other treats following trick or treat in the Village. There will also be games and a costume contest.
