What do you get when you mix a dash of The Devil Wears Prada with a pinch of Queer as Folk and a touch of Sex and the City? Netflix’s Glamorous, starring Miss Benny and Kim Cattrall. The show centers around Marco Mejia (Miss Benny), a queer, gender-nonconforming influencer whose life has stalled as he toils away behind a makeup counter. (It's important to note that while the character Marco uses he/him pronouns, the actor who portrays him, Miss Benny, uses they/them.) Everything changes for Marco when he meets one of his idols, model-turned-beauty-mogul Madolyn Addison (Kim Cattrall), and she offers him a job at her thriving business. As it turns out, everything changes for Madolyn, too. Here's everything you need to know about the new Netflix show Glamorous.

What is the Glamorous release date?

Glamorous is set to debut on Netflix on Thursday, June 22. The entire first season will drop all at once—perfect for an early summer binge-watch.

How many episodes are in Glamorous Season 1?

The first season of Netflix’s Glamorous consists of 10 episodes that Netflix will release all at once on Thursday, June 22. The series had a long journey to TV, with an initial pilot shot for The CW in 2019, with Brooke Shields starring in the role now played by Kim Cattrall and Eva Longoria directing. The show was not picked up to series at The CW, but it received a full-season order from Netflix in 2022.

Who is cast in Glamorous?

One of the most exciting parts about Glamorous is its diverse and fabulous cast. Here's who you can expect to see in the fun new series.

Miss Benny as Marco Mejia

Miss Benny plays Marco, a role they first took on for The CW's failed 2019 pilot (that version of the show followed a gender non-conforming high-school graduate who lands a life-changing internship at the makeup company he'd previously panned on YouTube). Now 24, Miss Benny first made a name for themselves as a teen on YouTube, where they'd discuss gender, feature makeup tutorials and post skits. They have previously appeared on Love, Victor and American Horror Story.

Kim Cattrall as Madolyn Addison

Kim Cattrall plays supermodel-turned-CEO Madolyn Addison. While Cattrall first rose to fame in the 1980s with roles in movies like Porky’s, Mannequin and Big Trouble in Little China, it was her legendary turn as the sex-positive Samantha Jones in HBO’s Sex and the City that made her an icon. Cattrall has recently graced our TVs in Queer as Folk and How I Met Your Father, and she's set to make a highly anticipated appearance in Season 2 of And Just Like That…
