Fabio Wibmer Bikes Down World's Gnarliest Ski Race Course In New Edit

The Hahnenkamm is a legendary Downhill Ski Race In Kitzbuhel, Austria. The course, known as the Streif, is known for being the gnarliest on the circuit. It takes serious guts to race down even with razor-sharp edges.

Fabio Wibmer has once again shown us that he is beyond gutsy. Watch Wibmer take on the Streif on his bike below in his new edit.

In this video, Wibmer backflipped onto the course and didn’t slow down from there. The size of some of the drops to now Fabio rode was truly breathtaking. Fabio Wimber might legitimately be fearless.

With the help of some serious studs in the tire, Wibmer was able to find grip in the off-camber injected snow.

This is not the first time Wibmer has blown our minds on the snow. In 2019, he released Fabiolus Escape 2, where he got rowdy on the snowy slopes. Watch the amazing edit below.

Wibmer included in the video, some clever references to the history of the race. In the first shot of the video, Wibmer exits a Gondola plastered with the face of former winner Daron Rahlves, one of only two Americans to win the race. Winners of the Hahnenkamm DH get a gondola dedicated to them.

He also rode up on the fence like Bode Miller famously did in 2008 on his way to second place.

This video features incredible riding, but also a deep respect for the history of Ski Racing from the Austrian.
