Fabio Stuber Gives A Whole New Meaning To The Word 'Waterslide'

Skiing after the month of April can be a slog when conditions aren't optimal, but professional skier Fabio Stuber doesn't seem to mind still skiing in June.

Watch as he hits a rail, picks up speed on the downslope, skims effortlessly across an alpine pond, and then throws a tasteful backflip to end the video:

This video was filmed at Silveretta Montafon, an Austrian ski resort.

I often think of videos like this when I'm asked why I want to keep skiing throughout the spring. Could I ever pull off a pond skim like Fabio Stuber just did? Well, no, but the thought that I could someday keeps me motivated.

That's half of being obsessed with skiing, isn't it? All of us are trying to improve our skills to reach an unobtainable level set by the professionals we see in movies and on social media.

Now, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, but I find it important to self-reflect from time-to-time.

Okay. Enough of that serious stuff. Go back and watch Fabio Stuber lace that pond skim one more time. It's worth it.
